A professional journalist and broadcaster for nearly four decades, Tony began his radio career in high school, working for a tiny AM station in a cinderblock studio near the South Carolina mill village where he grew up.

Tony has served as sports editor and Sunday magazine editor for his hometown daily newspaper, as editor/publisher at newspapers in Georgia and Ohio, and as the nighttime DJ on a popular Oldies radio station in the Augusta, Ga. market.

For almost 15 years, Tony took to the air each afternoon as drive-time host on WKSX 92.7FM, an Oldies and Carolina Beach Music station in the Augusta market. In 2020, he assisted a longtime colleague in launching an internet station called Timeless Jukebox Radio and hosts the afternoon show.

Tony also serves as public information officer at the South Carolina Governor's School for Agriculture, the nation's only residential high school devoted to ag education.
